mia | HALL, founder of Brown Girls Glow, has traveled the world as a leader in the entertainment industry over the course of the past ten years. From China to London, Brooklyn to Los Angeles, Hampton to Harvard and more; mia | HALL has built a reputation for passion, drive, and excellence. With her community on her mind, Mia has broken down barriers for women in sports, media, and education and continues to innovate both domestically and internationally.
As a content creator for outlets such as Black Enterprise, Blavity's Shadow & Act, All Def Digital and NBC BLK, Mia writes stories and scripts surrounding social justice issues, film and television. As an entrepreneur; Mia takes every opportunity possible to share the wisdom she has acquired over the years, with young women.
Through her organization, Brown Girls GLOW, Mia empowers young women to go from 'the hood' to Harvard, making whatever dream they have a reality, regardless of where they come from. Mia has worked with organizations such as Viacom, The CW Network, TNT, NBC News and more. She also has moderated panels and hosts an event series 'Network N Beats' in cities across the country. Additionally, she has launched two digital shows on her YouTube channel.
Mia received her Bachelor's at Hampton University and continued her education at Harvard University where she received her Masters degree. Mia uses every platform she receives to uplift others. She offers her story to all and empowers people to find their passion, and to pursue it with all that they have. Originally from East New York, Mia resides in Los Angeles, California.

ABOUT
Brown Girls Glow is an organization dedicated to helping teen girls go from 'the hood' to Harvard and learning how to turn their college, career, and largest dreams into a reality, no matter where they are from. Founded in 2016, they have impacted over 1,500 teens nationwide through workshops, keynote speeches, and one-on-one coaching and mentoring. The eight-week curriculum will be available online in the winter of 2019.
